| • | Since our last revision of the website there has been much change and expansion. | |
| • | Benoil has seen a period of steady growth so that it was becoming difficult to function smoothly in our existing offices. We have therefore expanded into new adjacent offices and stores. Our mailing address, telephone and fax numbers remain unchanged. Now Benoil is into its 26th year in business. Our order book and turnover continue to grow as our capacity to handle additional work load has improved. | |
| • | Many customers will be aware that in 2003 our business was damaged by lightning, which struck the local telephone exchange and sent a surge through the telephone wires. Virtually all linked equipment, including the telephone system, modems, computers and printers, was damaged. We replaced the equipment quickly and soon had some systems re-installed, but you will not be surprised to know the almost complete restoration took much time and effort. We thank those who have helped us overcome all the problems and our customers and suppliers for being forbearing at that time. | |
| • | Meanwhile our ISP had been taken over and this meant a changed procedure for website updating - to a relatively ponderous method. We have in consequence changed our ISP before making this update. We have also moved to a faster broadband connection, which means we can easily handle large files. | |
| • | We were pleased to adopt the SolidWorks CAD system at the end of 2003. This has improved the development of several new products already. We have also been able to exchange CAD-files working with customers developing parts and tools in harmony. | |
