| Customers have asked us whether repeated pressurisation affects the foil and therefore whether the burst disc can still be relied on to rupture at the target burst pressure after multiple use. Benoil burst discs are designed for single use and therefore recommended practice is to use the discs once only. |
| Please note that although the nominal thru bore is 38mm, this will vary as one of the variables is the ID of the burst disc. If there is a minimum thru-bore requirement post rupture, please advise this at the time of enquiry. Some tools / applications have a critical minimum flow rate or a minimum debris size to pass post rupture. |
